The internet never had a confirmed layer.
LinkedIn is what a company says. G2 is what people think. Neither is checked. So buyers send forty-question forms, and founders answer the same questions for every deal.
Trooth is what's true, checked. Confirmed covers who they are: a named human confirmed, the domain controlled, the repos provably theirs, done once. Witnessed covers what's true right now: each fact with its source and an as-of date, re-checked on its own cadence.
Everything else is labeled. Confirmed means a named counterparty attested. Stated means the company says it, shown in its own words. Every claim carries a receipt.

Trooth keeps checking across 10 frameworks and witnesses every claim with a cryptographic outer signature, anchored daily to a public time-stamp authority. It never signs the claim itself. That signature belongs to you.

Fair questions
- Who actually uses this?
- Nobody yet. Trooth opened its own page first and is the only company on the Network today. That is a real answer and not a coy one: the honesty rules that stop a company buying standing here also stop us inventing a customer list, so there are no logos on this site and there will not be any until they are real. The page you would get is the page we already run, and you can read every fact on it and check the signature yourself.
- It is one person. What happens if you disappear?
- It is one person. The answer is not a promise, it is a plan that exists whether or not it is ever needed: the continuity commitment says what happens to your data and your page if Trooth stops, the record is exportable at any time without asking, and nothing about your standing lives only in our heads. Read the continuity commitment before you decide whether that is enough.
- This is a rating agency pretending not to be one.
- There is no score to disagree with. There is no number, no grade, no band and no ranking, and there is no field in the system where one could be stored, because the one that used to exist was deleted rather than switched off. What you get is a list of facts, each labelled with where it came from and when it was last checked. Trooth confirms identity and witnesses facts. It does not attest, certify, endorse or rank editorially.
- Nothing here proves anything I could not check myself.
- Correct, and that is the design. Every reading is signed and dated, the signing keys are published, and you can verify any export against them without a Trooth account. A trust claim you have to take on trust is just a louder claim. The point is not that you believe us, it is that you do not have to.
- What stops a company from simply lying to you?
- A company cannot write the witnessed half. Witnessed facts are read by Trooth from the company's own live systems on Trooth's schedule, and the company has no way to edit, pause or delete what was read. What a company declares about itself is published as a declaration and labelled as one. Claiming a page never turns a declaration into a witnessed fact, and a reading that stops being refreshed is marked stale rather than quietly left green.
- It is free. What is the catch, and will it exist next year?
- There is no paid plan, no subscription, no card on file and nothing to buy, and the Terms say so in writing. If a paid offering ever exists, its price goes on the pricing page before it takes effect and no account is charged without agreeing to it. The one thing that is permanently not for sale is standing: what a page shows is what was witnessed, and paying us cannot change it.
